USB - Serial convertor

Hi.

Using a usb to serial adapter to connect laptop to The Box Super. Set the connection to be "Com 1" and can see it in Device Manager.

When i try and run GT Rom 8.4 the update does not move off 0 percent and fails.

Is there anyway that i can prove connectivity to the box from the laptop...just to prove that i have a connection.

I can't think of anything else other than keep having a go at turning the box off and turn it on after you have started the loader. Sometimes it kicks in.

Exact error is "Flash Update Failed"

Strange thing with the drivers...i use the correct ones for the drivers and get an error in device manager.
