hi, i have done factory reset and scanned so many times and still cant find some channels on my starview (in birmingham). my box that is in the other room works fine and has all the channels. i brought a new cable splitter and still no luck. what else can it be and what shall i do?the channels that are missing is star plus,zee tv,espn and a few others.

When you are scanning remove all splitters and plug into the direct feed. You might have to buy a signal booster. -
do i need 2 cable spliiers or just the one? when i take the box into the other room and do a direct scan all the channels work,but when i take it back into other room the channels are there now but still not working. do you reckon a signal booster will do the job? and how does it workComment

It depends on how many boxes you have plugged into the feed. Two boxes = one splitter. A signal booster boosts your tv signal, you will pick one up in most electrical/tv shops. You plug the direct feed into the booster and then the cables for the boxes into the other side. If you are using a booster you won't need a splitter.
