THE BOX is it MMDS

Hi Guys i have a problem in so as that i am in the mmds area of Ireland, an got this Receiver called the ''The Box, (not the Box T as i thought it was) can any of you good people here, be able to tell me, if this a Cable Box, or an Mmds Box. Now i had a go @ updating it, with the Box T Firmware, yes it loaded, but in checking it afterwords, it seems that it did not install it @ all.
And if it is an Mmds Box ( i have my doubts it is ) can it be updated.

Are you ntl mmds or chorus mmds? It's only chorus mmds that needs the box t.

Well if it's The Box it doesn't work most places in Ireland anymore, that's why you won't see much on it recently.
