thanks - i have some life in the box now
however a lot of channels not working
the sport ones unfortunatley.
1 sport channel has audio with no picture -
some movie channels are ok the scan found just over 150 channels,am i right in recalling you can get more channels?
any more help appreciated from anyone

if u look in the channels called tvch u might find the channels your looking for and then edit and rename


theres only about 50 channels m8 , the rest or just radio and test channels , if u cant find sports then just going to settings and rescan

and have done 2 rescans without any further joy.

I have tried to find sports channels without sucess
have tried rescan twice - it just finds the same number of channels, I can see sky sports 1 etc.. just nothing showing when selected.
Any more ideas please

What firmware are you using, press menu and system info and post what it says please.

Is your key emu on?

when i do that it reads on screen-

it was ok until about may/june this year all worked fine.

That is very old firmware and will not auto update the keys for you, so even with the emu enabled channels will not clear.

You need to flash your box with the latest SV1 firmware. You will find both clone and genuine SV1 firmware here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-v1-5-a-20848/

If you are unsure if you box is a genuine model, use the clone 257 version in the link, it is suitable for both clone and genuine boxes.

I have done that and now the system info says -

it seems to have lost some channels it had before

is that an even older firmware /?

trying to go over what i did in case i made a boob but dont belive i did.
I used the clone file however i do belive this is a sv gen 1 box, I will try it again using the other file.

In case that dosent fix it any more ideas please post

the non clone flash has worked
most sport etc.. back on
very happy

some not however missing a few - is it a simple matter of rescanning?
I dont want to loose any now ive got some,just checking its ok to rescan or do i need to search manually or other method?

ps- what a grat forum this is.
