splitter/channel 3000

i would like to know how i can see the names of the channels. eg i got channel 3000 and then in the menu its tv13 etc can anyone tell me how i can rectify this problem and whats the best mhz splitters to use . my splitter is outside where vm have the original installation . someone i know does'nt have this problem like channel 3000 etc what can it be?

you cant.. end of. epg only works from 1 to 999...

try to rescan from mates house problem is the spiltters.
