starview the box ,strange happenings

hi all, only had this box a week off the mother in law as she's no longer on cable,the thing is after a few hours it suddenly switches off then comes back on and then i noticed this morning the fourth dash on the screen instead of the time i then have to switch it off and on so it updates itself,i have checked settings all seem fine so at a loss ,i checked system information and it says

wouldn't think the app would cause these problems ,and on my box there 8 x 20 slots on the top is it a starview 2 unsure, thanks in advance.

re-starview the box strange happenings

my sv 2 The box has 8 rows of 25 slots on top.when you power it up you should have The box logo come up on the screen initially.my original software was dated july 2007,l dont remember the exact software version,because it stopped updating december last year so l reflashed with latest version listed in stickies at start of starview section about two months ago, l had to manually update after a k*y roll,now it updates automatically.
