starview firmware help

i have a starview box ( the 1st original and its not a copy)
can you let me know if there has been a firmware up date in the last 12 months, ive had the box as a spare and my starview pvr is being fixed ...anyways....all i get on my starview is fta channels

last fix was december time
if it just says starview on the box's top left hand side its a SV1
