The box with usb scanning problems

Hi Folk's
I have been trawling this and other forums for help over the weekend but have found no help and I'm starting to go mental

I got the box super the one with the usb port.
when I plug it in and scan I do not receive any thing. I tried the box at a mates and was able to receive the regular terrestrial channels + sly news and 2/3 free to air free view channels.
I then used his virgin media box at mine and receive all the channels he subscribed to so there is a signal in my line. Also i get my internet through the same cable with no problems.
I have scanned on all options ie. TW, NTL, EX c&w, etc but do not receive a signal these scans were straight from the wall socket for cable.I have tried different software V1.02, 1.05, 1.10 but still no luck.
I live in NW London.
Please any ideas to help are greatly appreciated!!

have u turned the EMU on m8

once u put ya fiemware on and done a scan u need 2 go 2 MENU 1570 (on remote) THIS will bring up a nagravation screen

Go down 2 KEY CODE make sure its turned ON and SET DEAFULT KEY

then put it on sly sports 1 then let it update

any probs coma bak m8

same reply as on other forum, use, 1.07. then follow as described above and on other forum....

My problem is that I scan on automatic using all availeble provider: TW, NTL, Ex C&W, OM, CHORUS, Chorus Cork but fail to pick up a channel and if i understand this right i can only get to the 1570 menu once ive got a channel

double check what firmware first is on box,menu-system info-v??,factory reset,coaxial cable into cable input,ch***s is an irish provider,look in through vents for a heat sink=clone,only flash with v1.07 anything above is a clone killer.try auto scanning again ,when you have correct provider channels should appear on lists,when finished keycode to on and exit out.

have got an original box its got v1.07 loaded all cables are in correct sockets
im in camden i use a VM cabel for the internet and have tried a VM TV box and on that i recieve tv. every time i scan with the box on any provider i get the message no new channel foun

do a factory reset then rescan on t/w

Do you know anyone who has cable where you take the box and try from their feed.
This will tell us if its the box that is the problem.

yep have tried that the box recieves a signal at a mates
my cable works had a VM box on it and all ok also internet is fed through this
do i have to change some scanning frequency or some thing?

Did you do a scan at your mates and get all the channels ?

no when he scanned it was before the update
we did get the terrestrials and sly news
ill go over the week end and try it with the update

It sounds like your you have a faulty connection.
I would replace you f coax adaptor that fits between the feed cable connection and the box
