broadband qry with a starview usb box

Peeps its me again, still doing lots of reading about this starview box setup stuff, just few questions if you dont mind.

I have broadband with VM, i know the box has no talk back, so how do i set my broadband up, do i ......

Leave my VM box pluged in,

Get a splitter, if so what type pics would be good

to set it up you will need a splitter



disconnect the wire from the modem that runs your bb and connect it to the single side of the splitter then run a new cable to the modem from one of the other pins on the splitter and the other one to the starview. job done!

ps just noticed you want to leave your vm box in aswell you would need a 3 way splitter but the theory is the same

hi, mate. my feed comes in upstairs to subbed box via a 2 way splitter.also got a chipped box connected via a 2nd splitter, no probs. from 1st splitter cable goes down to my modem then to my sv3 via a 3rd splitter. pictures are perfect. no probs at all except for load of cable!!!
