The link is fine I have just checked it.

No need to buy a new box try an earlier firmware from 6.01 onwards first.

Hi please ignore my previous messages. It was my brother's computer that has turned out to be a heap of sh*t and is not letting any downloads complete!!!!!! Have managed to download now. Thanks everyone for their help!

Does anyone know what the default password is for channel edit is? I have managed to lose the instruction book now so can't edit the channels!!!

Also does anyone know of any reliable places I can buy a Starview 3 from as I'm finding it hard to get another one.

0000 if unchanged or use 1668 as master password.

change it for a 3 pin type and fit a 3 amp fuse as i have seen this before on other boxes,is your box well vented as this can cause box freezing and rebooting,if that does not work it is time to look inside box at caps that are domed or leaking as they will also cause problems.
