difference between software for sv4

Hi as a total newbie can i ask how you are able to go back to v1.7 as v1.12 has a fault with the EPG
i thought when the incription keys were changed you had to install the newest software available to decrypt .do all the versions v1.1 to v1.12 all do basicly the same job ?. my sv4 is working fine except for the EPG is it best to leave it and wait for v1.13 or go back to v1.7.would love to know a bit more on what the differences are

Just re-flash it with V1.7. V1.7 is the most reliable at the moment!

I wouldn't wait for V1.13................
