Hi Can anyone help I'm trying to flash my box as i've lost all my scrambled channels. I have downloaded the loader and the file but the loader keeps asking for the model number, I have tried several but nothing will work it keeps sayin flash failed would this be because I have a clone, I wouldnt be able to tell the difference. I have tried doing it from my pc and my laptop but nothing works can anyone give me advice to what i'm doing wrong. I have tried to look for a new download with a bin file but carn't find one they all seem to be rar files. any replies would be much appriciated.

on the top left hand corner of your box does it say TheBox -

if you have the 4.03 loader and its loaded with the 457eE_api.bin file and you are using a null modem cable you should be able to flash your box.
you could also try the 455eE_api.bin fileComment

Im trying to download it from a usb but it keeps saying that the model number isnt correct it says in the help that if no model number is there just to enter the bin file numbers which are F:\TheBoxSuperUSB_BG_LOGO_080904_.bin but i dont know what to put there example is if you if you select abc11_2005_api.bin you write down abc 11 but carnt figure what numbers to put in i have the 403 loader but that keeps sayin carnt open serial port just keep goin round in circlesLast edited by alfie06; 21 September, 2009, 17:38.Comment

you probably don't need the logo file
just download the loader and file to your PC and run the loader then load the file then press the download button to flash it to your box.
connect box to the PC by Null Modem Cable and have power on to box (nothing else should be connected)Comment
