USB Compatibility with SV4

Hi guys,

Since I have replaced the USB I am getting a time lag when pausing, recording and accessing the hdd. Once it kicks in it is fine, but just wanted to know if anyone has a solution, or can confirm that this will happen with a larger USB?

PM my friend davros -- he runs a Maxtor 500 gig HD off his
SV4 and knows all there is to know about about recording etc !!
