File format for superusb2 (starview 5)

Bought a 500GB seagate usb hard drive with external power supply, but the box freezes every time i try to connect to it!!! Does the starview 5 only write to FAT32 file format, the same as starview 4??? Or is the hard drive not compatible?? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You could also use a SD Card but i would make it 4 gig min think this will record for about 1-2 hrs depending on what it is your recording m8 or even a Usb stick again use a good make so you dont get any lag etc.

You need a Pal with XP and SWISSKNIFE software [which is FREE -- just google "SWISSKNIFE"]

This will format your HDD to 500gig FAT 32 [I know, I was that man]

As far as I am aware SWISSKIFE will not run in VISTA.......

Don't mess about with 32 gig partitions !!

Hope this helps - yell if you need to know more........
