Staview 5 PVR Function?

Has any Member with this box able to get this function to work. I have been trying for the last 2 days with various Memory sticks 8,4, 1 GB but but to no avail. All sticks are formatted in FAT32. Have read the user guide but no joy. Thanks.

Thanks for your quick reply , tryed what you recommended but still the same, the Box just goes into a Freeze mode and i have to switch the power of the machine.

Model ID C531 S/W 2.03 Boot version b-21 When i switch on the boot version shows b-01. I did manage to record for about 10 mins then I stopped rec, alas it would not playback although it did have Memory on. Thanks for your time and interest with my problem.
