Starview upgrade?

hi, ive just bought a new lcd tv and am gettin fed up with not bein able to find stuff for my starview box, could anyone recommend a newer box as this one has long since become value for money and has become a nuisance.

i am not particularly computer literate so i doubt i could do the sat box things with cam sharing and such.

also does anyone know any good sites for non-random sequences of numbers and letters that can be usefull when software changes suddenly?
