    starview 4 sky sports 1

    hi all, just turned my box on this morning and i got "update in progress" message when i changed channel the message went of the screen, but now i am missing some channels
    sky sports 1,mutv and a few others.
    i haven't done a rescan etc as don't wont to run the risk of losing any more. any ideas what my problem may be?
    any help on this would be much appreciated

    try a factory reset and a rescan worked for me on monday morning same thing happend to me

      Do a factory reset.(code 0000)
      rescan.
      press menu and then 1570
      turn your keycode back on.
      press default menu
      Exit out to sly channel and let it update

        This happened to me today also and the factory reset seems to have done the trick.

        I'm running firmware version 2.02 on my sv5, do you think upgrading to firmware 2.03 will sort this out, or is it just a one off problem? Don't want to upgrade if everything is working fine as its needless.

          you sure are getting yourself about m8 cable company's are putting the screw in at the mo leave well enough alone for now if all it takes is a factory restore your good

            Haha yeah mate I am, been very lucky in recent times that everything has worked well so haven't needed to post.

            Hopefully luck isn't running out!!

              go to chanel edit,delete it,then run a scan

                Yeah I had this problem.

                I just deleted all the channels and then did a rescan so they didn't duplicate too much.

                Although, I've had to delete some duplicates which will appear and sickly channels like SCUMTV.
