starview 4 looks like nag 3?

hey all my starview 4 was working on movie chans then stopped out of the blue so i checked them all over and over iv checked sports and all ~~~~ chans they have all gone off is htis a slight fault or is nag three in the mist?

Hi mate, Have you tried turning the box off at the power switch on the back off the unit for a couple of seconds and then back on again? This can sometimes fix these issues.

i can confirm that ppv, sport and movie channels are all not being shown in the midlands. maybe nag 3 is in effect, or an update might be required

How could it be nagra3, they haven't updated their boxes, or sent out cards, so no way it can be n3?

No mate Nag3 hasn't hit us yet, And it probably won't for about another 2 yrs. I have a source of info at vm, Although I can't give you an exact time frame as he is just a regular employee but there are rumours circulating around the staff. Nag3 is defo in the workings though.

Gents. I reckon its just a key roll thats affected your boxes. They have done a key roll in the last 3 days.
A factory reset and rescan should do it.
Try just rescanning first.
If you do a factory reset make sure you turn your (emu/keycode) back on.

Basic encrypted channels appear un-affected, suggesting either a technical outage or something more sinister.
