starview5 help needed

    starview5 help needed

    have just got s/v5 today,have downloaded files V2.03 bin(974kb) when i go to unzip them on my pc,all i get is"the file u r trying 2 open is not valid or unsupported archive" have tried winzip and tugzip never had this prob before, i thought USB was supposed to be easier to use.any ideas would be apprieated. cheers

      just tried that m8 still no joy,still getting same message on my pc. might try unzipping them on my son's laptop later, cheers

        l one in my link dosent need unzipping , u have formatted your usb to fat32

          yes i used the s/v5 to format usb stick,at the moment all i've got on my stick is two empty folders, CH data backup and code backup. sys info is MOD ID C531,S/W VER2.00,BOOT VER B-21, DATE 04/AUG/09 is there a secret code like on the older boxes ie:1570

            cheers smirnoff, finally cracked it!!! i read somewhere on here that you had to unzip files before putting them onto usb stick,thats where i was going wrong!! i just put them on the usb stick from the download folder,no unzipping.plugged into starview and bob was your uncle. oh! happy days again!!!!!!!!!!!
