starview 4 encyption

Hi I bought the Starview 4 box the other day and had problems from the word go. mainly because of my poor knowledge.

i have installed it and have a few channels but all the free ones the rest have a price mark alongside.

i have downloaded a few downloads but nothing seems to happen when i restore it from my USB it loads but nothing actually happens

any advice would be appreciated thanks

Have you gone into secret menu > menu > 1570 > keycode on > set default then exit to ss1 & wait for update.

no i have not been able to find secret menu were about should it be?

sounds like u havnt got 1.07 f/w on the box m8 ,, 1.06 hasnt got the hidden menu

go into menu a info and tell us wots on the box

Press menu on remote ignor whats on the screen then press 1570 scroll down to keycode scroll right to turn it on then highlight set default press ok exit to ssp 1 & wait for update, it should only take a couple of minutes at most
