Starview 1 help

hi folks got the starview one
the box was working fine this morning with the latest keys from the chatterbox toolbar then it just dropped off losing the channels
treid doing a rescan to no avail
so then factory reset set the default keys exited out still nothing , the emu is set to on ive tried leting it update with the default keys and with the new keys all thatkeeps happenin is the display box saying data updating with a percentage which at one point reached 160%
then the box just hangs and freezes with the only option left is to switch the power off and try again
but just keeps freezing

im aware i may need to do the firmware so just ordered a rs232 but not gonna be here till end of the week
i would appreciate any help or info given cos im ready for unpluggin the thing and throwin it in the bin

The keys are rolling daily at the mo, make sure you refresh the toolbar then input new keys
