usb hard disk

Hi guys, someone was telling me recently about these starview boxes and I?m considering getting rid of my satellite system for one?
I'm not at all techie so am wondering how involving they are or if they are pretty straight forward to set up and use.
Also if using a usb hard disk can I program the recorder like I can on the sky system.
I don't really know anything about hard disks and don?t know what would be recommended for use with a starview 5.
As I said I've not much of a clue when it comes to computers etc, so help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

not clued up on hard disk stuff but someone will be. i trust you dont expect to use your sv5 with sat cable! only works with cable tv

Records fine to a HD or usb Stick or mem card One of the easyest boxes i have used so far

If you can run a Sat System you'll find a STARVIEW a breeze !!

I'm thinking of going for a Sat System -- but it looks very Nerdy and Anoraky .............
Go for it - lots of Good Guys on here who'll help you - as they did me....
