the important thing about these boxes is to remeber to turn the box off before insertin or removin the stick or there is a danger u may brick it...........if u go to menu.. goto system set up.. goto system information.. it will tell u wat firmware is flashed to ur box...u cud always try a factory reset......another sugestion is to check u have selected the right cable provider for your area....hope this helps

done that m8, says s/w version 1.07 boot version b-11 date dec 22 2008, mabye it just needed the keys inputed the first time and now will autoroll here's hoping,thanks for the reply

shudnt need to do that i d try a factory reset ,,,remeber to turn keycode on n press default
