The Box (not very) Super USB (any more!)

My starview 4 packed up yesterday, just went off, now has no display on the front and obviously nothing showing on the tv.

Looking at the back of the box with it turned on i can see a red glow from what looks like an optical cable connection - but thats all.

I've contacted my supplier (only had it two months) to arrange a replacement, but, just wondered if anyone elses box has died this way?

Quite a few have gone this way both clone and genuine boxes. The bootloader is wiped and as of yet there is no jtag fix for it.

It was looked at but at the end of the day its the manufacturer/coders who need to fix it.
