starview 4 remote control not work now

i have just updated the software 0n my sv4 to 1.12 and now my remote wont work any 1 now of this problem at all ,my starveiw 3 remote works on my sv 4 fine though i dont understand what as happened any 1 any ideas at all .

I presume you have checked the batteries.
Basically the remotes for sv 3 and 4 are the same.

yes batteries changed just gave up working i will tell wizard where i got the box from see if get another cheers again

don`t know if you have tried this trevor
use a mobile phone camera to make sure its dead - turn on camera,point the remote at it and press buttons,if it is working you will see the lights flashing ,
or it could be that the wires have come loose from your remote sensor in the box,
