can pick up virgin tv form a virgin bradband feed?

i got virgin bradband and was thinking if i could get v tv from it using a spliter and starview 5ubd as i read virgin send all the stuff down the same cable

yep u shud be able to get tv. hoepfully all the channels if u hav a good signal

any tips? will i need to buy a difrent modem?
wont virgin stop my signal if i cancel my broadban or they just take the box away?
