Starview 4 (clone) 8882 error

Hi All


I have got the error message 8882 8888 cycle which i think was caused due to updating firmware to V 1.12 from version 1.07

Would a cloned starview 4 box be able to be fixed using the jtag/8882 kit or is this method only for fixing genuine starview boxes?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

if it under warranty send back and does it have a silver heatsink if yes its a clone no fix.
