    The Box Super USB

    Hi All

Got the above mentioned box and was working in Dublin but I have now moved to trim and can't get any channels. The answer to the obvious q in yes I am connected to the network and get a few analogue channels. I don't have a mast so I am assuming I am on the cable system as it goes to manhole outside etc etc.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks

Press menu and then 1570 and make sure your keycode is switched on.

Lots of channels in Ireland are now missing due to nag3 encryption change

              Hi

I did that and it is still the same, I just get no channels found and when I do the scan it does not show anything up in the little bars by the freq.

"nag3 encryption" change will there be a work around for that or will need to wait for the new boxs to take care of that?

Going back to your original post are you sure you are not on Chor&as MMDS. You do not need a mast for a communal feed and I am almost sure from previous discussions about your area that it is served by DVB T MMDS.

However it may have been updated to DVB C since. If it is Chor&s MMDS then the box you have will not work even for those channels that are still on N1/N2.

It is an estate with about 500 houses in total so wouldn't of thought it would be on a communal feed for that many houses. Is there anyway of finding out if it is on DVB T or C. Not sure if it is any help but the only subbed box that is available is a normal one, DVR, Broadband, HD is not available and all subbed boxes I have seen are running on N2 cards

Older MMDS subbed boxes for Chor&S would be Sagem with ITD on the label underneath. If you could take a look at one it would tell you.

Unfortunately they may be swapped out for a new model now. A communal feed would be fine for that amount of house if they are not too far from the masthead, although they are notorious for low signal levels due to Db loss.

Although you say you can get some channels? Is this by plugging the coax directly to the TV or via the Starview?
