It is hard to say without defining if you are on MMDS or cable and if it is DVB C or DVB T without local knowledge it is hard to decipher.
When you factory reset did you try selecting Chor&s as a provider, scan and put keycode back on? Some Chor&s cable areas in Ireland need manual input of TPs maybe that is the case for your area.
But you need to be 100% sure you are in fact in a DVB C fed area as opposed to DVB T, (Chor&s MMDS). Do you have a subscription and if so what does it state on your bill?I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas AdamsComment

Thanks for the reply, don't think it is mmds as it went down earlier on this month but the people on the next estate was still up and running. Not on a paid service so can't check a bill. Did all the reset switched keycode on etc. Would of thought on the basic service that I would get more than 5 channels as I get non of the ROI channels (RTE, TV3 etc)Comment

If you cannot get any FTA channels i.e. RTE1 etc via the box then it may be DVB T in your area. Although strange you said you can get five channels via the TV which channels are they?I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas AdamsComment

Very strange and yet through the Starview you get nothing? I have to leave but could you try a manual scan at 323.00Mhz with 6875 as your symbol rate.
Post back your results cheers.I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas AdamsComment
