    Exactly the same thing happened here. I have a 100% genuine Starview, got the invalid box warning and now I have a brick. And my supplier cablebox4u.co.uk won't even respond to my emails. So much for their 12 month warranty, eh?

      They have a fix available for you. It's called StarView 5 and will cost you

        Yeah, cos I'm obviously going to buy another shitty Starview after this one died for no good reason, and I am most definitely going to order it from the company that doesn't even respond to my emails when I enquire about my warranty. It's a genius marketing ploy! Why didn't I think of it?

          Yes if you try to flash it with different sw it will power off just for a second while it reboots. Then its dead. wasn't that what the V012 fix was for?
