What is this error message 8882

Hi,

looking through this forum i have noticed alot of threads about the error code 8882 on starviews. Could someone tell me what is it and how it is caused?


i thought it was something to do with the usb being removbed while the box is turned on,.

it means the box has been bricked (disabled for use) it usually is caused by inserting or removing the usb whilst not turned off, it will need j-tagging to recover it unless its new then the supplier may replace it
