If i can access the secret menu (1570) would this mean i will not have to upload firmware to the box if this menu comes up ?

If you can enable the keycode then it must already be flashed. Post what it says in system info.

Hi mate - I bought a new SV 5 USB II yesterday but I am not able to see the secret menu on SV 5. could you please advise what I need to do to find it. Also I ran the scanning but getting $ sign in front of the channels I want to view. When I go to the menu and enter 1570 nothing happens. Pls help me

You will need to load the latest firmware on the box.

SV5 Dollar signs on channels

Just bought an SV5 USB II, can get all channels but most are blocked with a dollar sign. I've beeb reading threads but totally confused. How do I access these channels and what do I need, I've tried Menu - Installation - 1570, but nothing happening??

Menu > 1570 > turn keycode on > set default > exit to $ channel & leave to update
