starview box frozen

please help I loaded the box 4.57 firmware onto my starview box but now it is frozen with a the box logo on screen the remote keys and the box buttons do not function.

ok m8. when you hit download wait a few seconds then turn your box on from the rear this may take a few goes but will sort you out. ..maca..

I have already downloaded if the frozen screen is the result.

put ur cable feed in and then repeat the procedure

You did not state what Starview model you have? But it sounds like you have put "The Box" firmware onto a Starview 1. Is this what has happened?

If so you need to reflash it with the correct firmware for you particular model.
