hi all anyone know where the jtag cable goes in the starview 4 box?

I presume you mean the Max232 cable as opposed to a Jtag cable? Look directly behind the USB slot with the box open you will see as per pic below.

no its not the max its the jtag cable

There is a jtag position on the board but there is not jtag info for the SV4 so you cannot Jtag it.

I think we had this discussion before? Is this the same SV4 you have been trying to fix for a while now with an 8882 problem?

no this one the lcd is blank but theres power going to it

Its dead by the sounds of it as I said on one of your earlier threads. The bootloader has been killed and as of yet there is no jtag info.
