reading your other threads you seem to go off at a tangent and start another thread without solving the one you started.
by your other posts it appears you have the starview 1

first off your best bet is to flash your box with the latest firmware use the clonesafe version cryptstar v1.5 core 257 version and comeback if you need anymore help

firmware here Digital Kaos - Downloads - Starview 1 UK AU Fix v1.5

loader here Digital Kaos - Downloads - GTRom v 4.00

Yes that is somewhat true though not completely I start another thread only because I do not receive a response after some time has elapsed, also not really off on a tangent when the problem is the same.

        lost channels

if you loose specific channels ,they usually are still listed ,goto that channel ,then goto menau installation ,manual scan ,ensure u have the same freq as channel not working hit scan and u should pick em back up.

the trouble with starting another thread is people go over the same ground and finish up wasting yours and their time, far better to stick with the same one even if you have to re-ask/bump it back into contention

if you have the latest firmware on your box you shouldn't have to mess around with k*ys

is your box flashed with the above firmware in post 2
