    StarView 1 - Update Loop?

Sky Sports 1 isn't working on my bro's StarView 1 when I connect it at my place. I read on another thread that I should use hidden menu 1570, "set the default key" but now the box stops at "INFO: data is being updated.. [120%]"

When I restart the box, it starts updating again, how do I get out of this loop?

The free channels are fine but what about the Premium channels, Sky Sports etc, keeps attepting to update and hovers at "INFO: data is being updated.. [120%]"?

Cheers maca, do u mean "Set Default Key" in menu 1570, what does that do? I only have one cable feed in so assume that's what the box is scanning as I did have some channels.

khenryashley - yeh, I followed the steps... factory settings, auto scan, turned emu on etc.

The default key is in the 1570 menu. You scroll down to it then press Ok.
What firmware is on your box (check this in system info)

OK, thanks maca. Have exited out to Sky Sports 2 but seems to be updating and getting stuck at 20%, assume it should only take 3or4 mins?

Switched it off at the back, left for 2 mins, when switched back on bar at the botom of screen said "72 - Sky Sports 2.." then "INFO: data is being updated..." appeared and is now stuck at 70%.
