    starview 5 media files

    was wondering if it was possible to download media files from internet (films, etc), then transfer them to hard drive to play via a starview 5?
    any help wud be good thx

      Im pretty sure the file format for SV5 is .ts this is dvd format im told dunno if that helps you.

          I am trying this myself and have manged to convert a few AVI files to TS. The starview 5 sees them and plays them but the quality is very poor!! I have tried all combinations of rates and resolutions with no improvement. Has anybody cracked this yet? A note to anybody trying this- dont convert to TS on the drive you will be using. As soon as you connect to starview it forces re-format. Convert elsewhere then copy onto drive!!!
