Starview 5 the BoxII set up

Hi, can anybody help. Just bought my 1st unit, starview 5 the boxII. I've set the unit up and run the automatic install. All i get is the basic 5 channels and a few freeview channels. Do i need to flash the unit? and if so how do i go about it.

Menu > ignore the screen & press 1 5 7 0 > turn keycode on > set default > exit to ssp 1 and leave to update > enjoy
(while it lasts)

starview set up

i've tried the 1570 code etc however it is making no difference and i can't seem to access the premium channels on the box, currently i just have the free to air channels. could any1 help

make sure you have put the software on the box first m8,then just do as follows

press menu
press 1570
then a pop up screen pops up
switch key emu to on and then set default key

exit exit exit go to any pay channel and bingo au in 30 secs.

just got starview 5 box & help to set up. restored factory settings & did the automatic scan. Not getting most channels eg sky sports. can anyone talk me through how to get this thing working!!!

i have tried everything with the starview 5 usb. received the box, set it up, copied latest firmare on to the box did format usb to fat32. copied over to starview box. did the start up with the reboot etc, pressed 1570 turned on the keycode, however still no luck in getting any of the channels, still the free to air channels no sky sky sports etc.

would appreciate some help

what event are you after, eg boxing, these will come up on 1700 most times.

Try up around the 3000 should be in there m8
