starview 5 problem

    starview 5 problem

    i got instructions from the forum on how to load the firmware into the new starview 5 boxes, it says connect cables, format usb stick, copy firmware to stick via pc switch on the box and wait till it boots up. then menu and scroll to usb. when i turn the box on i get a screen saying english etc and when i hit menu nothing happens...what am i doing wrong..any help would be appreciated.

    ok english, and it will then take you to menu

      After you went into menu and then USB. You would have found the software from your USB in there.

      After installing it. It would appear that everything is exactly the same as before.
      However if you hit the menu button as normal then press 1570 it will take you to a secret menu.

      If I remember correctly there will be a further 2 options in that secret menu. and there you will turn the password ON.

      press exit and the channels should be available for you to watch.
