starview

i have just bougt starview hd combo,loaded grooverider file on my usb,put it the frnt usb port,changed it to 6889,scanned the channels.but if i press 8989 on the remote nothing happens.why is that? iam in southeast of england.iam still having difficulties in making this box work.Any help will appreciated.thanks
