    Re my "The box super"

    I was told it was guarenteed for one year but channels became blocked after six and i lost contact number with guy I brought from. All channels still say what is on and it is correct but no picture or sound, Beside each description of program is a $ sign on all channels that are blocked. There must be a way of releasing the sound and picture as the signal regesters good aswell. Please can someone help me as i am missing all my favorite stuff. SNAKEY. Sorry i'm not to sure how to use this site yet.
    see, how do i send thismin?

        I have had no luck re scanning channels. have channels but no picture and d don't know where emu is to make sure it is on . i am in a real mess and help of a seriouse nature ie step by step instructions dare i say. thanlk you snakey

        Realy what i need is full instructions and relevant passwords (numbers) to reset and rescan the channels. when i purchased it i had over 300 channels but suddenly all but bbc12 and variouse other useless channels were blocked and a $ sign appeared after each. rebooting did not work and now i know what is on but can't watch. I am desperate for help and believe it will be found at this site.

          what are the $ at beginning of each blocked chanel

          At the beginning of each channel there is a $

          eg) $ channel4
          $ SCI-FI
          $ DISCOVERY
          etc etc etc
          Any in list without this can be watched and heard but not with
          and I can't find out how to switch them off or what they are.
          i ned to find out and also the passwords eg0000 and the other one. I have over 350 channels of which i can watc about 6. please help me get this sorted as i used to enjoy tv now i pay a fortune for about 10 from vigin. want the good days back

                this is your third thread on the same subject (please stick to original one) and the answer is still the same

                press menu on the remote and on the screen that opens up carefully making sure you point the remote at the box using the remotes numbers enter 1570
                on the screen that opens up turn key emu on (if you don't get it right you have to exit out and start again)
                the only way this will not work is if the box hasn't been previously flashed (but you stated it had worked for 6 months previously)

                    Want to know about the box super

                    So sorry, me again. I have a silver box super and no idea which model. I can't find EMU to make sure it is on or off. The password 0000 seems to do something, but 1750 does nothing. I have no idea of firmware and all I know is that if I could get rid of the$ signs then i would have my 300 odd channels. I am learning how this site works but am new to web and all it entails.Please bear with me and i'm sorry if i'ma bit thick. Please could someone help me, i would realy appreciate it.Thank youAll i can tell you is my box is silver and did work once and was wicked. SNAKEY...

                          Thanks but 1570 did nothing and never found emu allthough i have seen it before when i had to rescan while talke througfh by guy who sold box to me. Sorry for repeating same shit again and again, still guessing how this works and finding it difficult. I used to start by putting 0000 in and later it was 4002 or something. lost bit of paper just before $appeared and been downhill evr since. I know it must be something simple and will get back to you all if i fiind out. Thanks and sorry for all the repeated nonsense. SNAKEY

                            Snakey I have merged your four threads into one as they were all about the same problem as said above.

                            Best sticking to one thread as it is easier for others to help you out.

                              as requested a pic of the box would help or give some details about it like what it says on the front of the box etc.
