Starview HD Combo Sat Firmware

Hi everyone, im in need of some help!?

Im trying to put the new sat firmware on the box and have followed the instructions given with it but when ive got it on the usb screen i cant open the boot file. Ive tried deleting it and loading it again and again... but still nothing. Can anyone please help me?

where did you get the boot file from?
Is it called grooverider.usd?

Managed to sort it out, used a different usb stick and that did the job, thanks for trying to help tho, cheers

The starview HD combo is it worth the ?200 pounds? Also is it as straight forward as they say on the fourm to program it. Is there a big differents in Hd. Thinking of getting one but dont want to waste my money if it is not worth it.

what box? what area? etc, etc... see you have been a member since 2008.why dont you read more or tell us more?

I have a problem with my hd combo box... however i have stumbled upon your problem.

I used a different firmware to try and sort mine out and it only found 101 channels. normally it finds 290 ish

Im using firmware for a NON LAN box..

The software is called;

GrooveRider_HD_Combo_1208.uad

The boot version im using is called;

HD300E_Boot_V0021.UBT

Again this is for the NON LAN BOX
