How many boxes can be run off one cable feed?

at the minute i have 2 feeds: my digital and my broadband

i run my vm box and broadband off the broadband feed and i run 2 starview boxes off my digital feed.

they all seem to run perfectly in regards to signal strength.

i was just wondering if anyone knows the limit on this sort of thing

    hi,
I imagine if you use a tv distribution amp you can run as many boxes as you want.I wouldn't advise overloading a single point too much or you might find strange things happening

ok as an ex engineer and installer and bailiff for vm i will only suggest no more than 4 products from the main cable inlet, the max they do is a 4x splitter but people run loads off them but it can seriously effect your signal
