Starview 5 loosing channels

Hi all,

Just bought a starview 5 today for a friend across the street. I set the box up on my cable connection and everything works fine, but when i connect to the house across the street (literally across the road) some of the channels just say no signal. Anybody have any ideas?

i would have thought a rescan wasnt necessary as im basically hooking inti the same cabe really

try a factory reset and rescan over there,no splitters or extensions,and keycode to on or enabled.

hi i have a starview 5 box and i installed it and have had all the channels for 2 months now and it has been great. however ive now lost all the sky channels movies sports etc
ive scanned for channels and i can find them but they still dont work ive also rebooted the box completley and installed from scratch but still nothing.
has anybody got any ideas on what i needs to do to get it working again?
is there any other firmware that needs to be loaded onto it other than the v 2.03?
