    All channels have gone off

I only updated the codes a few weeks ago - but I brought it from Leeds and now Im near Norwich.

    It is:
    The Box Super
    Ex C&W (now Virgin)
I have to manually update it.

Where would i get the new codes from? Hopefully not breaking any forum rules here. If I am then tell me - thanks all!

      Is the the chatterbox thing?

I have downloaded that but I need a wire to up load my box. Or am I wrong? I am thinking of buying the box but will the code be on there to manually update?

you need a rs232 null modem cable to update your box 9pin Serial Null Modem Female DB9F to DB9F RS232 Cable on eBay (end time 30-Nov-09 11:54:24 GMT)
once you have updated you dont need keys anymore m8

You need to factory reset it and rescan iy mate you've moved area so the transponders frequencies will probably not work there, bung in your codes again bear in mind these may be different aswell could be telewest instead of ntl or vice versa. But updating the box is always the best way to go

                    Ive got

Windows Vista - and look like i only have a female port but would be able to use a pc with the correct ports I think. What difference will the type of windows make and can i get a female to male changer??

                      Ive

tried updating the box - then a few hours later it blocked. I put the codes in since i moved down - so will try reset it after top gear.
