starview 1 clne wont flash

hi my sv1 went blank a few nights ago trying to flash today using gtrom v4.00.

just keeps saying flash failed the box wont display any pics or allow to go into menu etc , when switch off and on at the back displays 0 then 5 then 4 changing each time you swich on and off
in the channel number just wondered if any else has seen this and knows a fix or any suggestions thanks

cryptstar 1.5 257 i got it to flash by switching off and on till it went to 0 in display it goes onto a black station unable to enter menu on use any buttons on box or remote
