Starview 1 Connect To Comport

Hi all,
I'm new here so sorry if this question has been asked before but here it goes. I have a starview 1 box and im trying to connect it to my pc via a rs323 to usb lead but just finding it imposible . I didn't receive any drivers cd's when i purchased the cable so is there any available on the internet? Have tried quite a few with no luck,
