Hi guys getting the starview 1 delivered today,the guy im buyin it from says it works on the vnetwork and all is ok, i was just thinking do i have to update anything or is it a case of connect and watch?

all help would be appreciated as im new to this.

ps only paid ?20 for it so if it only works for a mth then im still quids in!!!!

if you in same area as last owner it will work out of the box so to speak if it going to a new area then it will need scanning on that network. plug it in and post back some results what firmware its on and what area you live<< nearest big town will do and someone will post back with what you need to do next

right the tight ass dickhead put it on 2nd class delivery so should arrive 2ma, got null cable and realised my desktop does not support that, so will a shi77y 256k xp with the port cope with it or do i have to wait and get a usb version.

laptop with port is a patriot 3070,please tell me it will cope dont know if i could cope with idiot bay again!!

right gettin annoyed!!! a week since posting and its still not arrived!!! I ordered the null cable off eay monday night and it arrived this mornin.
so either this guys skanked me or royal mail is that slow! NOT HAPPY

So youve got a cable then. Start focusing on getting your box working.

And send a message to paypal saying you have not received the other item.

you should have no need to do software, unless he has not used it in roughly a year, should be menu, auto scan, choose tw ntl etc.

m8 if i was u i d ask about ur m8s n family n see if any one has the connection for the null cable on their laptop/comp ...it s much simpler than messin about with adapters and far less troublesome
