Starview HD Combo LAN & NON LAN STBs

well i was wrongly informed, red below, have not tried this yet, but found this on the forum sponsored by the importers

This machine has now peaked in my opinion, i was scratching my head thinking what the LAN was actually for and then it come to me that it has CCcam installed!! well thats if you put the non official SW in... to start off with i manually entered the info on screen and then worked out that you can load your config in via usb stick!!
HD CCcam capable (and stupidly easy to set up due to the machine letting you load the CFG with a USB Stick!!)
noticed newcamd there also
plays AVI movies.
Home streaming
and hopefully at this rate more to come!!
at that price i can honestly say that its easily the best machine and the most thought about machine to hit the market....Well done Starview... if anyone else has picked on anything else it can do let us know

Hi Yes ccam is installed ive tried to use it with a working cline seems to load ok but wont connect to server ,tried everything asked everyone cant get ccam to run ,its as if there is a secret button to start ccam but i cant find it

hi guys...i dont think CCcam will work at the moment, as no firmware upgrade has been developed, but according to one of the sellers i was talking to....it will....soon, hence the ethernet port....well thats what he told me...

This is my first post, so haven't had access to the downloads, but can anyone tell me what is the latest version of firmware for the Starview Combo (with LAN) called, before I download it, thanks.

pizzaman, what do you mean?

I have tried loading CCcam.cfg from usb stick and says server disconnected.

I also tried entering the details manually and still same result.

Wasn't sure if it was a bad flash but even after a factory reset groove rider is still installed.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I know Alex has had exact same problem.

hi first post starview hd just got one was able to flash my self no bother and im new to this ps box is very good

yeah the lan 1
and i manually put my c line in
never used the usb method

I've seen posts on another forum that CCcam does work on the sat side.
