    Manual Scan on SV3 instructions?

Can someone please explain to me how you do a manual scan on a starview 3 box. I dont need to know how you physically go into the menus :-)

I want to know how you decide what DOWN frequency to enter in the top box, ive searched on the forum and have no idea.

Ive had my box over a year and have never had to do a manual scan before, when theyve got off in the past, i factory reset, choose TW and autoscan and they come back.. this time nothing seems to work.

I lost my channels 3 days ago and was only able to autoscan 103 channels.

People keep suggesting i do a manual scan.

Hi,Ive got the same problem here .....if you select a premium channel and do a manual scan you only picks up the channels we already have.I also have 103 channels. Can you do manual scan on a valid frequency.I live in the southwest area ..thanks

Hi stoneuk, i am also in the southwest, i have managed to get most if not all of my channels back last night after playing around in the settings.

The number you need to type into the DOWN frequency box is 379.000 then turn on NETWORK at the bottom and do a manual scan and it will re tune or whatever it does.

MACA58, you say go to a premium channel but i had allready tried an auto scan and it wiped them out.. all i had was FTA and some crappy radio stations.

After looking on this forum there is no technical information regarding frequencies which is a little dissapointing really as the first thing everyone says is do a manual scan.
